MAKEUP MAGICIAN TO THE STARS: Canadian celebrity makeup artist Paul Venoit, who has brushed the fascinating faces of A-listers such as Tom Hanks, Kate Moss, Pam Anderson, Claudia Schiffer and the Rolling Stones, is jetting into Winnipeg to teach a workshop Friday night at the Gas Station Arts Centre.

Venoit has been brought in to help publicize the new Be-Yoo-Tee Bar, 452 River Ave., on Saturday.

“I’m also coming out to Winnipeg to do a beauty seminar designed to speak to the everyday woman, not just for aspiring makeup artists,” Venoit says from Toronto.

“I look to empower through beauty. When a woman looks confident, she feels confident — it gives her an upper hand, like having a good hair day.”
