    CELTIC have paid tribute to "brave and courageous" Fernando Ricksen after the Rangers hero tragically died, aged

    The former Gers and Holland star lost his six-year battle with motor neurone disease this morning.

    He passed away at St Andrew’s Hospice in Airdrie.

    Fernando leaves wife Veronika, 33, and daughter Isabella, seven.

    Now Celtic have released a statement with their own message of condolence for the ex Ibrox captain's family.
